Mare Care/Foaling

At Euphoria Stables, we take the care of each individual horse very seriously, and there is no exception when it comes to your mare and foal.  We offer mare care services such as Artificial Insemination, monitoring throughout the entire pregnancy, foaling-out, foal care and post-foaling care.  We are very close with our veterinarians, Dr. Ted Yoho and Dr. Lee Bruey during each stage of the mare's pregnancy and delivery.  Whatever services you need, we offer them from conception on and would be happy to discuss your options with you.  We also accept mares just prior to foaling for your convenience. We have fantastic 6 foot no climb paddocks with shelters that have been ideal for foaling mares.  These offer plenty of space, privacy, and safety for the mare and newborn foal.

Nutrition, Turn out, Care

Behind every great horse is a life of great nutrition.  We take each individual's needs into consideration, which is especially important for mares in foal and lactating mares.  We feed Triple Crown Growth, as well as supplements specifically targeted towards your mare's needs, as well as those of her developing foal.  We offer plenty of turn out and time for the youngster to use it's legs, as well as lush green pastures to graze on. In many situations, the mare prefers one of the small paddocks with a shelter for constant turn out.  In others, the mare is brought into an oversized stall in the evening hours.
